Bring the whole family and join the BIPOC Birding Club of Wisconsin as we bird the Milwaukee County Zoo. Zoo staff will lead us to areas that wild birds are calling home, including natural areas . We will get to some of the animal enclosures to see what birds are hanging around.
Even if the aviary remains closed due to avian flu, we will still have close views of the Zoo’s two Whooping Cranes who are outdoors. The bird walk will end by noon, but your visit can continue.
The Zoo gates are open at 9:30 and we will meet at 10 am at the KPK Conservation Education Building in the atrium near Lot 3 at the south end of the parking lot.
