Bring the whole family and join the BIPOC Birding Club of Wisconsin as we once again bird the Milwaukee County Zoo. Zoo staff will lead us on an hour-long walk through areas of the zoo that wild birds are calling home, including the natural areas of the Zoo.
Aviary staff will then provide a tour of the building. Last year avian flu prevented us from this part of the tour – so photographers, bring your cameras and get ready to take photos of birds from many different parts of the world.
Our event will conclude by 11:00 AM, but your zoo visit can continue.
Details: We have organized early admittance to the Zoo at 8:30 AM and we will meet at the KPK Conservation Education Building in the atrium near Lot 3 at the south end of the parking lot.
For those who register before 5:00 PM on Monday, March 6 parking and admission fees will be waived. Register here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/birding-at-the-milwaukee-county-zoo-and-aviary-tour-tickets-557283559127
