The Milwaukee Christmas Bird Count will also happen on Saturday, December 17 at from 9:00 am - 11:00 am at Hopkins Hollow which is located at 4410 N Hopkins St, Milwaukee, WI 53209-5927.

Each year birders around the country participate in Christmas Bird Count (CBC). We are planning to do our part in Hopkins Hollow with Nearby Nature.

Meet at the trail head at 4410 N Hopkins. Lincoln Creek runs through this area making it ideal for songbirds, hawks, herons, owls and more. Even a Peregrine Falcon has been spotted flying over.

Let's see what we can add to the Hopkins Hollow bird list and to the Milwaukee CBC.

No previous birding experience required. Hot Chocolate and binoculars provided. You can expect easy, but uneven trails.
